About the Process

  • We start with a brand strategy session where we clarify your positioning, identify your competitive differentiation, and establish the personality your brand needs to express. From there we move into design: logo development, color, typography, and supporting elements, with two rounds of revisions built in. We wrap up with a brand standards guide and a full file delivery.

  • Because a logo without strategy is just a mark. Strategy is what makes a brand ownable. It defines what you stand for, who you're for, and what makes you the obvious choice. When design flows from that clarity, everything is intentional and nothing is arbitrary. It's also what separates a brand that attracts the right clients from one that just looks nice.

  • The Breakneck Brand includes two rounds of revisions. In practice, thorough strategy work at the beginning means we rarely need more than that. When the brief is clear, the design direction lands. We're invested in getting it right, not running up the revision count.

  • Both. We're based in Orange County and work in-person with local clients who prefer it, and remotely with founders across Southern California and nationwide. Our process is designed to work seamlessly either way: video sessions, shared documents, and clear communication at every stage.

  • Not much! That's our job. Before kickoff, we'll send a brief intake questionnaire to understand your business, your goals, your customers, and any existing brand assets. The strategy session itself is where we do the real discovery work together. You bring your knowledge of your business; we bring the framework to turn that into a brand.

About Fit & Clients

  • We specialize in hospitality, creative services, and wellness: restaurants, wine bars, boutique hotels, yoga studios, interior design firms, creative agencies, and specialty retail. The common thread isn't the industry; it's the owner. We work with taste-driven founders who've built something genuinely excellent and need a brand that reflects that caliber.

  • Primarily established businesses: founders who've been operating long enough to know what they've built and who they're serving. That experience makes for better strategy work. If you're pre-launch but have a very clear concept, deep industry experience, and are ready to invest in brand from day one, we're open to that conversation. Startups still in the figuring-it-out phase usually aren't the right fit.

  • Depends on what it needs. If your existing mark has strong bones and just needs refinement and a full system built around it, we can work with that. If the issue is deeper (a logo that no longer reflects who you are, or that was never quite right) a clean start usually serves you better. The Roadmap Session is a great way to assess that before committing to a direction.

  • Yes! We focus primarily on brand identity, which is the strategic and visual foundation your website is built on. But we’re happy to build websites for small businesses that convert.

  • Yes! Our client base has always been national. We're based in Orange County and love working with local founders, but geography has never limited us. If the business is the right fit, the location isn't a factor.

About Investment & Timeline

  • Because you're not buying just a logo file. You're buying a strategic foundation that will shape how your business presents itself for years. A professionally developed brand attracts better clients, supports premium pricing, and creates consistency that compounds over time. The businesses that treat brand as an expense and the ones that treat it as an investment end up in very different places.

  • The Breakneck Brand typically completes in 6 - 8 weeks from kickoff. Exact timing depends on the scope of the project and how quickly feedback rounds move on your end. We're efficient by design: the 'Breakneck' name is earned.

  • Yes. Projects are typically split into two payments oragnized by milestones. We want investment to feel manageable without compromising the quality or pace of the work.

  • We can make it happen, just tell us upfront. If you have a hard deadline ( a grand opening, a press feature, a product launch) we'll build the timeline around it and be transparent about whether it's achievable. Rush timelines are occasionally possible depending on our current workload.

About the Deliverables

  • You receive: a primary logo and alternate logo configurations, a full color palette with hex, RGB, and CMYK values, a typography system with licensed font recommendations, a brand pattern or signature graphic element, a brand standards guide (how to use everything correctly), and a complete file package in all formats: vector files, web-optimized PNGs, and print-ready files. Everything your printer, web designer, or social media manager needs.

  • Yes. Upon final payment, full ownership of all final design files transfers to you. The brand is yours to use, modify, and build on however you see fit.

  • Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) for scalable use in print and signage, transparent PNGs for web and digital, PDF versions for sharing and printing, and JPEG versions where needed. You'll have every format before you'll ever need it.

Getting Started

  • A few signs: you're slightly embarrassed when someone looks at your website or business card. You've raised your prices or elevated your offerings but the brand still looks like it belongs to the earlier version of your business. You're attracting clients who don't quite understand your value. Your competitors' brands feel more polished than yours. Any one of those is reason enough to have the conversation.

  • Book a Roadmap Session. It's the smartest first step. It gives you a clear picture of where your brand is, what it needs, and what the path forward looks like, with or without us. If you're already clear that a full rebrand is next, reach out directly and we'll set up an intro call to talk through the project. Either way, the first conversation is always free.

We’ve got work to do.

In 6 weeks, we'll build you a story-driven brand that makes your ideal clients stop, lean in, and think "this is exactly what I've been looking for."
